This Privacy Policy describes how Bluevera Ventures LLC, doing business as Bluevera Labs (“MockReady,” “Bluevera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when you create an account at mockready.ai and use our interview practice service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
When you sign up and use MockReady, we may collect:
- Name and email address you use to create your account
- Your resume, in text form, after you upload a PDF, DOCX, or TXT file
- The job description you paste for each practice interview
- Optional information about the role (level, focus areas)
- Voice recordings and transcripts of your mock interview sessions
- Payment information (collected by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your card number)
- Any messages you send to support
Information collected automatically
When you visit mockready.ai or use the app, we may collect:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent, and links clicked
- Referring website
- Server logs of API requests
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Generate interview questions tailored to your resume and the role you are applying for
- Conduct your mock interview session via voice
- Generate your assessment report after the interview
- Track your subscription, plan limits, and usage
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates
- Process payments
- Improve our service using anonymized usage data only
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send occasional product updates, which you can opt out of at any time
We do not use your resume content, transcripts, or assessments to train AI models.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us deliver MockReady, including our voice-agent vendor (Retell.ai), our AI provider (Anthropic, who powers Claude), our database and authentication vendor (Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe), our hosting provider (Vercel), and any analytics tools we use.
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
We use enterprise or team-tier plans on our vendors wherever possible to ensure your data is not used to train third-party AI models.
4. How long we keep information
- Voice recordings of your mock interviews are deleted immediately after your assessment report is generated.
- Transcripts and assessment reports are kept in your account for as long as you have an active account. You can delete individual sessions or your entire account at any time.
- Your resume and job descriptions follow the same retention as transcripts.
- Account and payment records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes, typically seven years.
5. Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of your information, request correction, delete your account, opt out of marketing, and object to certain processing activities. You can delete sessions and your account from your dashboard. For any other request, email support@blueveralabs.com.
If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA.
6. Cookies and tracking
mockready.ai uses minimal cookies — essential cookies to keep you logged in, analytics cookies to understand usage, and font-loading scripts from Google Fonts. We do not currently use behavioral advertising cookies.
7. Children’s privacy
MockReady is intended for adults age 18 and older. Our service is not directed at children under 13.
8. International users
MockReady is based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including using vendors with strong security practices and storing payment information only with PCI-compliant processors. No system is perfectly secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
